Finland is one of the safest and cleanest countries in the world. The air is clear and fresh, tap water is drinkable and the surroundings are safe and peaceful. Our campers can go pick fresh berries, mushrooms and herbs straight from the forest, go fishing by the lakeside and get to learn many useful skills by doing a variety of different activities, workshops and adventures.

Summer Camp Finland aims to raise the awareness of the sustainability issues in today’s World. We will have little workshops focusing on cleantech topics such as air quality, clean water, energy efficiency, waste management and recycling. We are also looking into sustainable food production, climate change, carbon footprint and responsible consumption, all in a fun way of course.

Team work and activities are on top of the camp’s daily program. The children will be learning  lifesaving skills, playing team sports, learning to row a boat, canoeing, making a campfire, hiking, swimming and much more. The children will be encouraged to work together towards a common goal, learn social skills and feel the joy for succeeding.

There are many benefits to joining our Summer Camp: The children will grow more independent and confident while taking and overcoming challenges safely, under supervision of trained staff. What’s more, they are guaranteed to have a lot of fun as well!

The other benefits of the camps are learning to communicate in English and learning to understand foreign cultures.

Our campsite is located on a beautiful forested lakeside in Southern Finland, less than 1 hour drive from the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Our company has been running travel and tour operating services since 1968 and our professional staff is dedicated to offering the best possible quality services. For each 10 campers, there will be 1 leader + 1 helping hand.

When the activities or program content requires so, the campers will be divided into two age groups: 8 – 14 years and 15 – 17 years olds. Younger children can attend the program with their guardian. This means the guardian needs to stay on the same campsite in order to ensure the child has enough support with all the activities.
