Day 8: Monday, 3.8.2026 – Nature & Wilderness Day

- 7:30 – 8:00 – Waking up for a fun and active camp day
- 8:00 – 8:45 – Breakfast: Start the day with a healthy breakfast.
- 9:00 – 12:00 – Morning activities: We will learn how to respect nature, follow camping etiquette, understand everyman’s rights & responsibilities, and discover the plants and animals. Learn what you can do to care for our environment.
- 12:00 – 12:45 – Lunch time
- 13:00 – 15:00 – Afternoon activities: How to survive in Finnish nature? Practical survival skills include, for example, a tent or shelter building, finding water & food and how to keep warm.
- 15:00 – 15:30 – Afternoon Snack
- 15:30 – 18:00 – Compass basics and map reading, orienteering challenge.
- 18:00 – Dinner: Back at camp, enjoy a tasty dinner
- 19:00 – 21:00 – Campfire: Sharing nature stories and fascinating myths of the Finnish forest spirits
- 20:30 – Evening snack: A cozy snack to wind down the adventure-filled day. Camp Diary: Share your highlights, funny moments or odd things you noticed in writing.
- 21:00 – Bedtime starts, preparing for the next day’s adventures.
- 22:00 – 07:00 – Quiet time: Restful sleep to recover from the day’s activities.
Day 9: Tuesday, 4.8.2026 – Expedition Day 3 – Helsinki Sightseeing & Suomenlinna Fortress
Schedule & Activities:
- 7:30 – 8:00 – Waking up for a fun and active camp day
- 8:00 – 8:45 – Breakfast: A hearty breakfast to prepare for a day of exploration and learning.
- 9:00 – Departure – Depart for Helsinki for a day of sightseeing, including the historic Suomenlinna Fortress.
- 12:00 – 12:45 – Lunch: Enjoy a special lunch in one of Helsinki’s charming eateries.
- Afternoon – Continue the tour of Suomenlinna Fortress, delving into its history and significance.
- 15:00 – 15:30 – Afternoon Snack: Snacks provided during the excursion.
- 18:00 – Return to Camp – Dinner back at camp, discussing the day’s adventures in Helsinki.
- 19:00 – 21:00 – Campfire: A gentle evening campfire to unwind after a busy day.

Day 10: Wednesday, 5.8.2026 – Water & Beach Activity Day

- 9:00 – 12:00 – Morning Activities: Water rescue skills workshop by the lake, teaching safety and rescue techniques.
- 12:00 – 12:45 – Lunch: A nutritious lunch to keep the young bodies and minds well energized.
- 13:00 – 15:00 – Water Activities at the Lake: Canoeing, paddleboarding and swimming, with emphasis on fun and safety.
- 15:00 – 15:30 – Afternoon Snack: Energizing snacks to keep the campers hydrated and happy.
- 15:30 – 18:00 – Finnish Sauna School & Swimming: Experience the traditional Finnish sauna, followed by a refreshing swim in the lake.

- 13:00 – 15:00 Afternoon activities: Canoeing Skills Workshop: Learn canoeing basics – paddling techniques, teamwork, steering and water safety. Practice on calm waters close to camp with instructors guiding.

Note 1: All activities are subject to change based on weather conditions, availability and group preferences. Safety briefings and equipment are provided for all activities.
Note 2: English language studies are included in the daily program. There will be English studies every day. If there is need for private additional English studies, it can be arranged for extra price.
