Finnish sports are perhaps known best for its ice-hockey and Formula One to TV viewers. However, sports is considered a national pastime in Finland and many Finns are practicing more various sports than just ice-hockey and car racing. Skiing, snowboarding, skating, curling, hiking, horse riding and golf are among the most popular activities.

For those who happen to stop over Helsinki and love doing sports, city Hyvinkää is a perfect destination to go to. There is not only an easy access to the swimming hall and ice rink in the city, but also Sveitsi Nature Park area and Sveitsi skiing center offer variety of options for sports lovers.

First of all, Hyvinkää is very close to Helsinki airport, roughly 30 minutes’ drive. Secondly, Sveitsi Hotel in our tour package is located in the Sveitsi Nature Park surrounded by forests and nature. Superpark and Fitpark inside the building and Sveitsi Adventure Park and Swimming pools right next door, you have everything you need close to your reach.

The hiking paths leave from the hotel doors and the Ice Rink and Skiing Centre are 5 minutes drive away. All sports places are close to one another.
